WHY NOW? BECAUSE LAURENCE TAYLOR WAS ALREADY THE MOST FEARED PLAYER IN THE NFL BUT THIS FRIGHTENING MOMENT ADDED TO HIS REPUTATION AND FFROM THERE, HE WAS NOT A MEAN LINEBACKER ANYMORE...HE BECAME A MONSTER.

 

It reminds us that we should never compare current players to players from the past. It's almost a diffrent sport.

 

Back in the days, you played with the idea that you could not be able to walk after the game. It took more than skills, you had to have guts.
